I will put forth all of my skills and my best effort to lead you through an engaging and enjoyable D&D session. I bring the setting, story, maps, miniatures, pencils, paper, books, adventure music, etc.
I bake time into my sessions for people to get situated and settled and will work with each group to be focused on the gameplay when it’s time to roll dice and get into things. Please look over the session timeframes below to get an understanding of what our time together will look like.
In order for us to have a quality session together we’ll want to make sure that our expectations are aligned. For me, as the game master/dungeon master, I am expecting the players to be considerate and respectful to one another and also be respectful of my rulings during gameplay. I will not put in-game consequences for out-of-game issues and will work with you to help you understand if there is an issue. However, I reserve the right to remove you from the game without a refund if you are being threatening and/or particularly disruptive.
Prior to game start I would request that you spend a little bit of time looking over the various races and characters that are available for play. I have made custom character sheets that combine a significant number of races and classes with stats and equipment in place already. During our first session together, you’ll select which race and class combo interests you the most, decide on a name for your character, select a background that interests you and then we’ll start from there. Please do not make a character sheet yourself and bring it to the session. Limit your preparation to simply Class, Race, Name, Character Description, and Background. Once the characters are made we’ll get started with gameplay. In future sessions where you already have a character made, this time will be used for leveling up, downtime activities, and recap or in-character RP.
